Brief

One major role of our country’s Soil and Water Conservation Districts is public education. In Noblesville, IN, Hamilton County’s SWCD planned to create a traveling exhibition focused on the basics of soil health. This trailer will soon be present at state fairs and other events.

While the district had already developed the trailer’s exterior wrap, they still needed a logo for the project. The urban conservationist overseeing this project suggested that a lightning bug be the mascot, as they depend on healthy soil to lay their eggs in.

Goal

Create a logo to serve as the mascot for Hamilton County’s “Soil is Alive!” trailer.
